"Ernie Penley"  Country/Southern Gospel Singer-Songwriter

Ernie Penley is an accomplished singer/songwriter of country gospel and southern gospel music. As a member of the now retired southern gospel group "John's River Quartet" he wrote and sang lead on their national hit songs, "J-E-S-U-S Spells Love" and "(Old Fashioned) Holy Ghost Revival". Both songs charted on the Singing News Top 80 National Charts in 2013. At the beginning of 2014 Ernie launched his solo singing ministry. His first release, "Life Changes Every Day" received great airplay nationwide. His second release

"Jim Was Saved Tonight" reached #32 on the national charts in December 2014. The latest release "Power Surge"  debuted at #60 on the national charts for April 2015.

Ernie is currently busy working in the studio recording nine newly penned songs for the brand new CD

GOSPEL TROUBADOR (Up Close & Personal) with a very distinctive "downhome country style". The new songs are about Ernie's Christian life and influences with special tribute to his parents. There will also be a 10th bonus cut with a little comedic flair! The new CD should be released by fall with a new radio release by mid summer!
